1. Access data and hosting

You can access our websites without providing any personal data. Each time a page is called up, the server automatically saves only the so-called server logs, such as the name of the requested file, your IP address, date and time of the call-up, the amount of data transferred and the requesting Internet service provider (access data) and documents the call-up.

This data is only analysed in order to ensure the proper functioning of the website and to improve our offer. This serves - as part of an interest assessment - to safeguard our legitimate interest in presenting our offer correctly. All access data is deleted within seven days of the end of your visit to the website.

Hosting services provided by an external service provider

As part of the entrustment of data processing - an external service provider performs web hosting and presentation services for us on our behalf. All data which - in the manner described in this privacy policy - has been collected as part of the use of our website or in the forms provided for this purpose in the online shop are stored on the servers of this service provider. Processing on other servers takes place only to the extent specified in this privacy policy. This service provider is based in a country belonging to the European Union or the European Economic Area.

2. Collection and processing of data for contract processing and customer account creation

We only collect personal data if you provide it to us voluntarily by placing an order, by contacting us (e.g. via a contact form or e-mail) or by creating a customer account. Mandatory fields are marked as such because the data they contain is necessary for us to perform the contract or to process the matter on which you have contacted us or to set up a customer account. Without them, you cannot complete your order or set up a customer account or contact us. What data is collected is determined by the forms into which the data is entered. We use the data you provide in order to fulfil the contract and respond to your requests. After the completion of the contract or the deletion of your customer account, the processing of your data will be restricted and, after the expiry of the retention periods set out in the Tax and Accounting Act, the data will be deleted, unless you expressly consent to the continued use of the data for other purposes. Your customer account can be deleted at any time. To do so, please send a message to our contact address indicated under "Our contact details and your rights" or use the corresponding function in your customer account.

3. Data transfer

For the fulfilment of the contract, we pass on your data to the delivery service, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of the ordered goods. Depending on which payment service provider you select during the order process, we pass on the payment data collected for this purpose to the credit institution processing the payment and, if applicable, to the payment service provider selected by us or you. Some payment service providers collect the data themselves if you create an account with them. In such cases, you will have to log in to the payment service provider you selected during the ordering process with your access data. The privacy policy of the respective payment service provider will also apply.

4. E-Mail-Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, then we will use your e-mail address to send you our newsletter regularly by e-mail based on your consent.

You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by sending us a message to this effect or by using the relevant link provided in the newsletter. Upon receipt of such a message, we will delete your e-mail address unless you expressly consent to the continued use of your data for other purposes. The newsletter is sent within the framework of the entrustment of data processing on our behalf by a service provider to whom we provide your e-mail address for this purpose. This service provider is based in a country belonging to the European Union or the European Economic Area.

5. Integration with Trusted Shops Trustbadge

For the presentation of our Trusted Shops Trustmark, as well as the collected customer reviews and the Trusted Shops product range available to buyers after ordering, Trustbadge from Trusted Shops is integrated into our website.

This serves to protect our legitimate interest in optimising our market presence. Trustbadge and the services advertised in this manner constitute an offer by Trusted Shops GmbH, Subbelrather Str. 15C, 50823 Cologne, Germany.

When Trustbadge is used, the server automatically saves the so-called server logs, containing e.g. your IP address, the date and time of the call, the amount of data transferred and the requesting Internet service provider (access data), and documents the Trustbadge call. The access data referred to above are not analysed and are automatically overwritten within seven days of the end of your visit to the website.

Other personal data will only be passed on to Trusted Shops if, after making an order in the shop, you decide to use Trusted Shops products or have already registered to use them. In such cases, the agreement concluded between you and Trusted Shops applies.
